Filtering Candidates by Multiple Tags (AND Condition)

Hello Personio Team,

I have a question regarding the Tags feature in Personio Recruiting.

Currently, when filtering candidates using multiple tags (for example: “German” and “Cloud”), the system shows all candidates who have at least one of these tags — which means it works as an OR condition.

However, we would like to narrow the results to only those candidates who have all selected tags (in this example, candidates tagged with both German and Cloud).

Could you please confirm if there’s any option or planned feature that allows filtering candidates by multiple tags using an AND condition instead of OR?
If not, is there a workaround (for example through saved searches, reports, or API filters) that could help achieve this?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,
Anna

Hi @AnnaCzarnik

you are right, the filtering is working with an OR condition at the moment only. I am happy to pass along that feedback to our engineering team as it is understandable that you wish for AND filter options as well.

At the moment you could do a workaround by generating an application data export and use this as resource for further analytical methods.

Hope this helps.
