We had a candidate that was hired and in the onboarding phase. She decided not to join.
When it was clear that she wasn’t joining, we immediately changed her status to withdrawn, but that didn’t automatically result in her leaving the onboarding phase.
Is there a way to have this automatically happen? What is the best practice in this situation?
When a candidate decides not to follow through with the position, by putting the candidate into a withdrawn phase will have no effect on the employee profile. Instead you will need to manually change the status from Onboarding to Inactive or if you prefer you can also remove the employee profile.
There unfortunately is no way to automate this process currently, however I would kindly ask you to provide this great idea into our Ideation Area so our Product Team have visibility of it 😄
If there is anything else I can help you on, please do not hesitate to reach out to me again.
