Can't create remaining vacation days report with new Personio
Hi, for a financial audit we need to report remaining vacation days as of 31.12.24.
Before with the classic builder I was able to create this report without any problems, I just selected names of employees, vacation days entitlement, planned, taken, carried over, and the final amount at the end of period.
I am not able to to this since the Personio update. Can anyone help please? is there a way of reverting my profile to the old version so I can use the classic builder?

The classic builder is actually still available in the new Personio. When you create a new report, you’ll find the option at the bottom left:

I do not have this button on my Create report from scratch page I have Admin rights so I don’t think this is due to my profile.
oh okay. I’m not quite sure then why it’s not there for you… Maybe reach out to either your customer success manager at Personio or open a ticket with them? I’m an admin too so I assume it’s something technical why you’re not seeing this.
Hi - I wonder if I can jump on this thread to add a related question?
One of our managers has built and saved an excellent list of her direct and indirect reports, showing all the key info she needs at a glance (job title, salary, annual review date etc). She’s was really pleased with this functionality, until se realised she can’t see a way to show remaining holiday allowance as a single column. She can see full entitlement, and days taken, but then has to manually calculate the difference between the two, which is obviously less efficient!
Do you know of a way to show remaining holiday entitlement as a single column in the Employee list view…?
Hi @HRJoy, there should be an option to show the balance at the end of the period. Is she using reports for this or simply the people list?
Just the people list - it feels like some thing that should be doable in that section, rather than needing to run a report each time.
I just checked and you’re right. In the People List it’s not available but in the reports you can add “Paid Vacation – Balance at end of timeframe (days)”. I reckon if it’s possible there, it should also be possible in the People List. Maybe worth a feedback and idea to them?
Good to know I’m not missing something obvious - I’ll set up a report in the short term, but this definitely feels like key info that would be ideal to see in the People list… Will provide some feedback
