Yesterday I tried to make a leavers report. My idea for the report is to see all the employees who left the previous month, which is a timeframe we can also choose when creating the report manually from scratch.

So in this case 1st of August to 31 of August, and then next month it will go to September and so on.

The problem I have with this is that for some reason when I create the report it does not pick up the leavers of the 31st of August. It shows all the leavers but not those of the last day of the month. So yeah I wanted to ask if this is a configuration issue, or if I am doing something wrong when creating the report.

Let me know what you think!

Hi @LSPB

I just double check this with my own account and it does shows the leavers on the 31st as expected.

In this case, I would suggest you create a support request via Help & Feedback.

Help & Feedback > Browse for help > Contact us

This way support can check this for you in depth.
Be aware that only Account Owners can contact our Support team. In case you are not registered as such, please contact your colleagues in the role, or add this information to your account. You can find out how here.

I wish you a lovely day 🌻

Best,

Fernanda

Hey Fernanda,

Thanks for replying to my thread! Very much appreciated 🙂

Quick follow up questions: can you maybe share with me the settings you used for the report? Which conditions and settings did you input into the report?

Would be great to know, because if it’s working for you I’m most likely doing something wrong.

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Lorenzo.

Hi Lorenzo.

As discussed, the reason these aren’t being picked up is due to how Personio is set up. As anyone who leaves on the last day of the month is made inactive at midnight, they are technically being made inactive the next day (the 1st of the current month) and therefore aren’t picked up.

The only way I can see to resolve this is to manually change the report dates each month and have the dated be the 1st to the 1st.

Unless @Fernanda T can share how her report is set up.

Thanks,

Zoe

Hi @LSPB

More than happy to share my set up for this report. Please refer to the images below:

I also set up a condition to avoid getting terminations from previews months:

And this is the result:

I hope this helps, Lorenzo 🤗 if you have further questions, let me know!

Best,

Fernanda

Hey Fernanda,

Thank you for your reply!

Just for clarification tho. The setup for your report shows a custom date, this means that every months you’ll have to change this date correct?

Let me know :)

Hi @LSPB

That is correct.

If I choose the option “This month” it won’t reflect the leavers for 31st.

I would suggest to contact support to check this in detail for your account, but custom date should reflect the information you need 😊

Best,

Fernanda
