This is my first post, so I hope to it in the correct section 😅
I propose this topic because I think that salary is a difficult and important topic for Company and Employees and is important to be updated regarding the best practices. 

How is the remuneration plan composed for the Sales TL who has to organise and support the team, but also generate his own sales? 
We currently use 3 factors: 
- Fixed salary;
- Variable : The idea is that the variable compensates for the reduced time you can spend on sales yourself.
Commissions: based on sales; 

Do you have others way to define the compensation for this kind of Role? Do you any suggestions or tips?

It’d be great if you can provide more information about how you added the variable and commissions just to try to understand and see if I can think about any best practice for it. For me, it sounds good but it’d be good to have more insight.

I didn’t understand, for example, the way that the variable compensates the reduced time, is that related to the time tracking?
