hello everyone,

i have recently noticed a discrepancy in my attendance-values. It appears that it was due to the fact I only imported already-confirmed values which where recently created or updated.

Unbeknownst to me said filters do not seem to include those attendances, which happened to be confirmed outside of my given parameters, making the 'updated_at' feature rather useless for my use case.

Could you please confirm whether or not 'updated_at' is affected by a status change and/or if there is a better way to import data based on when an attendance was created, edited AND confirmed?

Thanks in advance,

Anna

Hi @Anna461

Yes, reports will only pull out confirmed leave dates, which can be a pickle at times.

The only way you would be able to see when an absence was approved would be by using the audit logs, you would need to set the from date to when you pulled the original report until today and then look at absences updated for all employees, to get your list.

I hope this helps!

Hi @Anna461,

When importing attendances using the import feature, they are automatically approved. Currently, it is not possible to modify the creation date or approval date during the import process.

If you manually edit the attendances in Personio after the import, these changes will initiate the approval workflow defined in Settings > Workflows > Approvals, and the new dates will be recorded as the last updated.

I hope this clarifies the attendance import functionality.
