How can I set up an automated reminder about long term absences that affect other teams?
For example the IT team needs to get notified so they can pause automated security training requests.

Unfortunately we don’t have this option for Reminders. A possibility is to grant them access to the Company Calendar so they will be able there to see who is absent during certain period.
This you can do by going to Settings > Employee Roles > relevant Employee Role > Calendars > Relevant Absence type > Global in case you would like them to see this Absence of the whole company.
I’ve looked for similar ideas in our ideation area , but couldn’t find one yet.
