Hi,

I am trying to calculate vacation burn rate (i.e. half way through the year has half of annual leave entitlement been taken)

Does anyone know in reporting how I can see for employee how many days of leave have been requested and approved but not yet taken

Ideally I want something like:

Employee Vacation Entitlement Vacation Taken Scheduled (booked not taken Not Scheduled
Joe Bloggs 25 5 10 10

Thanks

Russell

Hi @Medmark,

You can generate a Custom report to display data on employees’ absence balance, entitlement and carryover. To do this, go to Reports > Create Report > Use the Classic builder. Give your report a name and in the Specify report details section, select Point in time and choose the date. Then add the absence attributes under Table columns, balance, entitlement and carryover. Add any report conditions and click Save to generate the report.

You can also use the Employee list to generate data on employees’ Planned days absence balance. To do so, go to Employees > Employee list. Click the three dots (...) on the top right > Edit list columns. Search for the absence type and select Planned days balance and Balance attributes. Click Save. This will pull current employee data. You can then export the list to an Excel file along with your Custom report.

If these options do not fully satisfy your needs, I would encourage you to post this as a suggestion of improvement in our Ideation area. This way, other users will be able to vote for it, and the suggestion will be shared with our Product Team.

In order for us to fully understand your idea, I share with you a couple of questions that your description should clarify when posting in the Ideation area:

  • What would you like to achieve with Personio? What issue do you need to solve?

  • Why? What would be the added value for you?

  • How are you solving it right now?

The more details, the better! However, remember not to share any personal or business data with the public.

Make sure to add the link to the idea in this thread, so that other users that find your question can upvote it.

Thank you in advance for sharing your ideas with us 🙌🏽.

Best,

Steve
