Hi, does anyone else get an error message when uploading certain documents? I have checked the documents several times and the fields are correct. I’ve tried re-formatting, changing font etc...I cannot figure it out….

Hello @lisaamoroso 👋🏼,

The main reason why error messages appear when uploading documents, is that a placeholder is missing a symbol. You can check the placeholders, list of options, and signature placeholders in your document to make sure if any of the following cases apply:

  • Are your placeholders complete with the symbols {{ }}?
  • Are your List of options complete with the symbols [[ ]]?
  • Are the gender placeholders complete with the symbols || ||?
  • Does your signature email contain the following:
    • @@Name (designation)@@
    • @@designation##city@@ (optional)
    • @@designation##date@@ (optional)

If none of the options above help out to solve the inquiry, please upload the document template on your employee profile under documents and contact our support team through Find Answers. My colleagues will be able to log in into your account and check why the document is not being accepted by Personio.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can support you with regarding this topic.

Greetings from Munich,

Andrea
