It would be incredibly useful to be able to backdate employee changes. Currently the option to schedule change is very good, but actually being able to set a change as having happen on a specific date in the past is also important in enabling the correct history.

Hi @Astrid Friis,
Thank you for your patience with my reply. The feature you describe is very useful - in fact I am happy to inform you that it is already possible to backdate changes made in the employee profile! 😊

To retroactively change an attribute, navigate in the employee profile to the Detail view of the History and correct the date of the corresponding entry. In the column New value, you can then enter the correct date.

You can even add completely new History entries.

You will find more info and the step-by-step instructions in the Help Center Article: How Can an Employee Attribute Be Retroactively Changed?

Would this solve your enquiry? If that’s the case, I would convert your idea into a question.
If you meant something different, please let me know!

Have a wonderful day,
Daniele
