Hi,

I would like to add view rights to metrics (under Analytics) to our CEO. I cannot find this part in Employee Roles - where can I do this? Thank you!

Hi - I believe you will need to give the Employee Role that is assigned to your CEO ‘Edit’ rights under Reports in the permissions for that Role, in order for them to be able to see the Analytics:

Thank you @HRJoy . This seems right. I did notice that the reports get reducted as the MP doesn’t have “access to all infomation” so the reports are not fully accurate.

Yes - even if you give full ‘Edit’ rights to Reports, the Role will still only be able to see the profile info that they have permissions to see. So the reporting functions in many cases won’t be particularly helpful! But still preferable this way round than to accidentally share information with an employee who shouldn’t see it.

I guess my follow-up question would be - what information is hidden from the CEO of the business, and why? You could argue that the CEO has a reasonable requirement to access the vast majority of the profile info for each employee...

@HRJoy We haven’t had the need to have a separate “role” for the CEO and they have then seen the same information as the others, i.e. excluding information regarding people’s contracts (type, length, etc) and some other personal information such as gender or similar. We’ll have to see if we need to make this role :)
