How can we exclude people from the approval workflow?
Generally the direct supervisor has to approve vacations from everyone but this shouldn’t be applicable for our founders, which are not having a supervisor.
But when they are entering their vacation days there is still an approval by the supervisor required. How can we change this setting?

A little workaround is needed for this, so first create an employee role and ensure no members are added to it.
Next you need to create approval rules to filter for the founders. So you may want to create multiple rules such as email equals _______, ID equals _________ etc.
Once you have created the rules, you need to set up the approval process for each. You will set it up that these founders are now approved by the employee profile you have just created. Due to this role having no employees as members within it, the approval will automatically go through and skip the process.
