Triggering Esignature through API/Automation

Hello everyone!

Currently i am trying to set up an automated API based process for our company, and a big hurdle i currently face is triggering the signature request for an employee when a specific document is uploaded into personio.

I tried using the update document metadata endpoint under v2, but it only allows us to edit name, date, and add a comment.

Has anyone figured out a workaround, or know something that i might be missing?

Help is really appreciated! Thanks 🌞

Hi @Nik20,

so far this is unfortunately not possible. I’d love this feature too actually! Might be something for the future or you could submit this as a feedback. 😊

Alternatively, you could create a workflow to be notified whenever a document in a specific category is uploaded and you can trigger the signature process manually.
