Dear Community :-)
We just implemented Personio at Magnolia and since then Personio changed Sub-companies to Legal entities and newly you can/have to select the main legal entity. Do you know what will happen if I mark one of our legal entity as the main legal entity valid as of 1 January 2024?

At the moment, there are no real implications to setting one of your legal entities as the main one, unless you are using Personio Payroll. This change was made to become more in line with requirements in terms of Payroll, therefore this is the reasoning behind it. You do not have to set any legal entity as a main one right now if you do not want to. Possibly in future when more features become available, this may change and you may want or need to change this.
