Adjusting Upward Review for an Employee Mid-Cycle

Hello Personio Community,

I need help with a specific adjustment in our current performance review cycle, which is already in Live status.

We have an employee (X) who currently reports to a new lead (Y), but Y only started in the manager role in October. For this review cycle, we would like X’s upward review to be directed to their previous manager (Z) instead of Y, since Z was their manager for most of the review period.

The challenge is that the Reviewer selection setting (Automatic vs. Manual nomination) is now locked and cannot be edited. Could someone advise or assist with one of the following:

  1. Is it possible to manually reassign X’s upward review to Z in the current cycle?

  2. Alternatively, are there any recommended workarounds? For example, could we create a mini-cycle for Z with manual nomination enabled and assign X’s feedback there?
