Hi,

we are currently implementing job leveling and are missing a feature to level each pre-defined skill list belonging to one job family, which should be the base for the calculation of the overall level.

Workaround is to create a document including all skills and levels.

Do you know a better solution?

Thanks and best regards,

Larissa

Hey @Larissa Horst,

We’re working on adding career frameworks to Personio (targeting release in October). With this new feature, you’ll be able to define competencies with various levels of proficiency and assign them to specific job levels within a job family.

Once you publish the career framework ,the overall result will look like this for employees:

Is this roughly in line with what you’re trying to achieve?

Cool @daniel.boon, thanks for the information!

Does it mean we can also level each skill individually for each employee then? So the employee not only understands the requirements but also his status?

And then the supervsior can create goals based on his status and personal development direction..

This would be the perfect picture of someone’s development roadmap..

You’re welcome!

And yes, we plan to enable rating competencies via Performance & Development as part of performance review cycles (this will be a later release - not right away in October). With that, employees will be able to see their performance against competencies visualised e.g. on a spider chart.
