Redirecting a Manager Review

Hello!

We are in the middle of our performance reviews. A few employees have had a supervisor change after the performance cycle was set up. Their Self-Review and Manager Review request has gone to their old manager. Is it possible to redirect them to the new/current manager?

Many Thanks!

Hi @Aine D and everyone,

Apologies for the delay in responding.

Yes, it’s possible to switch the manager responsible for writing reviews during a cycle. You should see a task in your inbox prompting you to review changes in the reporting line. This task appears every morning as a reminder.

From there, you can decide on a case-by-case basis whether the changes in reporting lines should apply to the ongoing cycle. If you approve the change, the newly assigned manager will be responsible for writing the review and nominating individuals for Peer and Upward reviews for the participants.

Hi @Aine D

We had the same issue during our annual review this year. I could not find the solution, so in the end the managers filled out the review together for the colleagues in question.

If there is another way, please let me know :)

Honestly I’m not sure how these works! I struggled with this situation in the past and now I’m a bit unsure how to manage these changes.

Hi! I have a similar question but other way around: the team lead has changed recently and we would like the upward review to be for the old manager, because the team member has not yet worked enough with the new team lead in order to review them. Is there a way to change this after the cycle has already been started?
