The end of year is approaching! This means it is time to set the stage for smooth absence management in 2026.
We recommend these two quick steps so that you and your team can start the new year in a more relaxed way:

📋 Step 1: Check carryover settings for absences

Now is the ideal time to review your absence policies and ensure that the carryover rules for remaining vacation days match your company requirements and legal regulations. Our Help Center article guides you step by step through the most important points for setting up or adjusting these rules.

📅 Step 2: Check public holiday calendar for 2026

Make sure that the correct holiday calendars are stored and assigned to the appropriate employee groups for 2026. The correct holiday calendar is the foundation for precise vacation and absence management in the new year. Check your individual calendars, compare them with the system calendars and update them if necessary. You can find instructions for this in the Help Center article.
