In the Netherlands we are entitled to a holiday allowance of at least 8% of our gross annual salary of the past year. The holiday pay is calculated on the wages you have earned in the past year for example from May to May). As an employer we pay out the holiday pay at least once a year. The pay slip shows how much holiday allowance someone will receive. In which manner can we add this in Personio so the employee is able to see their amount of holiday allowance and their full payment of it in May?

Hi @Dide,

Thank you for reaching out. I am happy to help :)

There is currently no built-in feature that automatically shows you that sort of holiday pay (I assume you are referring to “vakantiegeld” in Dutch).
However, I will show you how to get a very similar result with a workaround 😊

You can import a One-time compensation for your employees. These are one-time financial payments such as e.g. holiday bonuses, severance packages and extra payoffs. In your case with the holiday pay, you could do it e.g. once a year in May. You can add a comment to the payment so the employees will know exactly what the payment is for.

You can either add the holiday payment manually by employee, or make an import to assign the holiday pay to multiple employees at once.

You can find more instructions about Importing One-Time Compensations here.

I hope that helps!

Best,
Daniele
