Hello community,

As we approach our grand reveal, we wanted to do some reflecting. This community has been a driving force behind the development of Personio. The feedback that you, our members, have provided has served as our guide, allowing us to release features and updates that resonate with you and your work. 

The way we collect this feedback has changed over time. However, we still thought that your contributions to developing Personio were worth a look back. 
 

So, here’s a quick, non-exhaustive list of what this community has told us:

  • Workflows can only be used in limited instances. We need to be able to use them for different processes.
  • Timetracking isn’t as seamless on the Personio dashboard as it is on the app.
  • P&D features, such as continuous feedback, don’t come with customisable visibility. 
  • Documents can only be generated for one employee at a time, resulting in a long process. 
  • If I need to re-send a document for signature, I can only do so once the original has expired.
  • Carry-over days can only be limited to a certain date, with no other options to do so. 
  • There isn’t enough flexibility in how we set absence accrual policy. This is important for international markets. 
     

We listened, passed your feedback to our colleagues, and here’s what they delivered in response:

  • Customisable, automated workflows that you can create from scratch. This is in addition to the pre-built cases that can be applied to common HR use cases. 
  • The ability to start/ stop time tracking directly from the home page as well as to submit bulk time tracking.
  • P&D features with the option to toggle visibility on or off, based on what your employees need.
  • Simultaneous bulk document creation for multiple employees, cutting down some serious admin time.
  • Signature reminders and a re-send feature that can be used anytime. 
  • The option to limit carry-over days to a specific number. 
  • Expanding absence accrual policy functionality by enabling you to pick which date your policy starts on. This reflects the fact that different markets have different dates on which the holiday calendar year starts.

We’re not done yet. Here’s a list of additional improvements to boost your experience:

  • Enhanced People Widget: Easily see when someone in your team or department is available.
  • Time Management enhancements: Manage time off and attendance in one place, plan team capacity with a timeline view, and check remaining balances before booking time off.
  • Data & Insights improvements: Admins now have a dedicated Metrics page for quick access to essential data, and the new AI-powered Personio Assistant for data insights helps make data-driven decisions easier.
  • Employee Management: "About Me" page: A new profile section provides a quick overview of key details about colleagues, helping you navigate the organization more efficiently.
  • Recruiting enhancements: A new Applications Widget with shortcuts simplifies candidate pipeline navigation, and the improved Interview Widget now displays interviews for the previous and next month instead of just seven days.
  • Payroll enhancements: The new Payroll widget on the home page provides a cycle overview and links to the new payroll overview page, where HR and payroll data are consolidated. It offers a clear view of your upcoming cycle, costs, tasks, and documents - all in one place.
