Dear Community,
Personio Assistant is your personal HR assistant within Personio. It's an AI-powered chat interface that gives you instant answers to your HR questions and helps you complete everyday tasks faster. You can ask about your remaining vacation days, understand your payslip, access your HR documents, and more.

Please remember, in order to enable Personio Assistant for your employees, you (as admins) need to manually turn on this feature. You can do so by navigating to Settings > Employees > selecting the employee group you’d like to enable > Permissions > tick Personio Assistant.

Hi everyone! I am excited to announce that you now have access to Personio Assistant in your Personio accounts. Think of this as your own personal HR assistant that can quickly help you manage HR processes. Some examples include:
- Manage your attendance: Ask how many vacation days you have left, or confirm who on your team is taking time off. When you’re ready, you can request an absence directly from Personio Assistant
- Clarify HR or company policies: Confirm how many vacation days are allocated to your region or absence types available to you and get instant, accurate answers – no additional browser tabs needed
- Deep dive into compensation: Get more information about your tax rate, bonus amount, or even deductions from your payslips
- Figure out who’s-who within your organisation: Bridge gaps between team members or office colleagues by asking about which team, location, or position a peer is in. Or even find out when their birthday is!
- Access HR documents whenever you need them: Prepare for anything that comes your way – like applying for a new flat or managing a loan – by relying on Personio Assistant to pull up payslips, job contracts, visa information and more
