Q: How can we set up time tracking without manager approval for all employees except working student

The best way to handle this is by setting up an approval workflow specifically for working students (using the filter option). Since the other employees won’t be assigned to any workflow, their attendance will be automatically approved.

Q: How can we ensure that people dont accumulate overtime when having half day sick leave (most of the time someone might call in sick after having worked a bit

To avoid overtime with half-day sick leave, make sure the sick leave is recorded only for the absent part of the day. You also have the option to 'don't count as overtime' when employee track time on this absence type

Q: How can i add automatic breaks? that after 6h 30 min are automatically reduced

You can do this when setting up or editing the working schedules. You'll find the option under the break settings: "Automatically add breaks if they are missing or don’t comply with the break rules."

Q: how is the view for flexible schedule for the employee?

They will receive an inbox notification to set it up and then see it as before in their attendance section.

Q: can i create a workflow for specific people getting an alert if a person is working over 10h?

Yes 🙂 You can do this via the workflow "Approval for attendances with rule violation"

Q: Will there be a notification when someone doesnt adhere to the 11h break after ending a day and starting the next one

No, we don't support it yet. Although we are aware of the requirement and it is a high priority for our product team

Q: Can a manager see their team's tracked hours even if they dont approve the times (no approval workflow set up

Yes, this is possible by granting the manager at least view rights to their employees' attendance.

Q: Will it be possible to also include overtime in the attendance report section?

Yes, you already have the option to display overtime in reports. More granular evaluations will be added in the future.

Q: can the employee change their flexible work schedule? or only once?

Yes they can change it :)
