Dear Voyagers,

As part of our mission to keep the Personio Voyager Community a place where you can stay up-to-date and level up your Personio skills, we’d like to offer you a summary of the most important product releases and updates from the last couple weeks.

If you've tried them out, feel free to let us know what value they've brought to you.

And if you have any questions about the features, we’re happy to help! Please let us know in the comments.

@ mentions in recruiting

In the Comments tab, you can write new internal comments and store existing comments. Depending on your settings, you receive a notification every time a comment is entered. Unread comments also appear in the open tasks of the Overview tab.

You can mention colleagues in a comment. This can be helpful if you need their input on an application. Use the @ symbol to reveal a list of colleagues you can mention. Only the following colleagues appear:

Even employees with edit rights to the Recruiting app don't appear (unless they meet the criteria above). For relevant colleagues to appear, they also need permissions for the Comments section via their specific recruiting role.

You can mention two or more colleagues in the comments. You can enable email notifications for mentions via the recruiting role settings.

New Engagement Survey

With our new Engagement Survey, you now have access to ready-to-use templates and a flexible question library, making it easy to gather actionable insights across every stage of the employee journey. The Templates contain our People Matter Framework questions to measure key outcomes (retention and referral) and generate our science-based Engagement score - so you get a clear, actionable way to measure and improve engagement.

Mobile Personio Payroll: Doctor's question on the Time off request

If you use Personio Payroll in Germany, eligible employees can now specify whether their doctor issued an eAU when requesting sick leave on mobile. This feature was already available on the web version.

Legal Entity Improvements

If you don’t have DATEV or Personio Payroll, you can now change the country of a legal entity, including the main legal entity.

New Feature: Additional Proration Methods

You can now prepare payroll in countries including Spain, France, the Netherlands, and the UK with new salary proration methods designed for your local compliance needs.

Calculate employee pay accurately, decrease payroll prep time, and remove inefficient workarounds by choosing the right salary proration method according to local compliance needs. We have expanded our range of supported proration methods, with multiple options available based on contractual working days and average working days.

Personio now supports the following additional proration methods:

  • Calendar days - annual
    • Based the number of calendar days in the year
  • Fixed annual - working days
    • Based on a preset number of yearly working days
  • Fixed monthly - working days
    • Based on a preset number of working days per month and an employee’s working schedule
