Email Issues in Personio – Candidate Replies Not Received & Emails Not Sent

Hello, 

We’ve been using Personio for recruiting for almost two years, and until recently everything worked well.

However, for about two months now, we’ve been experiencing issues with email communication. Specifically, we noticed that responses from candidates are not appearing in Personio. Candidates receive our emails and reply to them, but their replies are never visible in the system.

In addition, for approximately the past two weeks, we’ve also been facing problems with sending emails. This affects both application confirmation emails and rejection emails.

This situation makes our recruiting process very challenging and negatively impacts our employer brand. At the moment, we don’t know how many candidates have replied to our messages without us receiving them, which can give the impression that we are ignoring them—while in reality, we are simply unaware of their responses.

Has anyone experienced similar issues or found a solution?

For something like this, the best next step is to open a support ticket directly. Our support team will be able to look into your account setup in detail and get to the bottom of both issues.

You can do so via the Support area in your Personio account navigation bar, following these instructions.
