We have external recruiters who send their reccomended profiles via our personio application form and then select their name as the channel. As installed, an automated “thank you for your application” email goes out. I dont want automated emails going out if the channel is being selected as external recruiter as these people didnt apply but rather were reccomended to us.
Also when I move a candidate from one job to another, the thank you email is being sent out again. How can I make sure that a profile only gets it the first time applying, but not when we move that profile to different job boards within our Personio

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to limit the email auto-responder in the first scenario. Autoresponder is sent right away, when new application is submitted and created in Personio Recruiting and in case the autoresponder is turned of for the category, in which the specific job belongs too - it will be sent to every new application automatically.
When it comes to the second question: Assigning application from one job to another one, shouldn’t trigger another auto-responding email usually. Happy to help and look into if something is misconfigured in the settings. Feel free to let me know in case you need a help or schedule a quick call here
