Notification when someone is added to a hiring team - is this possible?

Hi everyone,

Quick question for the community.

Is it possible to enable a notification to members of the hiring team when they are added to a job in Personio?

Ideally, when someone is added to the hiring team (e.g. as Hiring Manager, Panel Member or another role), they would automatically receive a notification letting them know they’ve been added and directing them to the role.

At the moment, it looks like hiring team members don’t receive any alert when they’re added, which means we need to notify people manually.

Has anyone found a way to configure this through notifications, workflows, or automations in Personio? Or is this something that isn’t currently supported?

Hi ​@Stephen Willis,

I just asked my colleague who’s responsible for recruitment on our end. She mentioned that it was never a problem for us because they’ve been in constant touch with the hiring managers and they always knew when things were happening anyways.

Maybe someone else knows more but I don’t think a notification about this is currently available.

unfortunately an automated notification is not possible at the moment. As a workaround you could use the @mention feature in the comments section to inform your colleague about being added to the recruiting team. Just type @ followed by your colleagues name. 

But it is generally a great idea and I am happy to forward this feedback internally. 

I can imagine many other Personio users would find this helpful too.

I would encourage you to send this idea through the new ‘Give feedback’ feature directly in your Personio account. Submissions will be forwarded directly to the relevant product teams.
