Hello dear community,

 

For a few days now I have been having problems sending emails from Personio. 

Everything seems to work perfectly when I send an email to a candidate and I am told that the email will be sent.

 

However, after a few minutes the email is not delivered and I see the following error message:

This message could not be sent.reason: An unexpected error occurred while processing the e-mail. Please try again later or contact support if the problem persists.

 

When this happens, I do not receive any notifications. As a result, candidates miss important emails and I do not know about it unless I check it myself.

 

Has anyone faced this problem and has a solution?

Good day Vincent.

Since you mentioned that you are facing this issue from last few days,

  • I guess there are no issues with the SMTP Settings. But you can double check it again. (I faced this issue during my previous employment, contacted IT team and got it fixed.)
  • Try to disable your firewall, at times they too can cause such issues.(Surprisingly)
  • Try to ensure that the browser you are using is up to date or maybe clear all the cache.

I have checked all your recommendations but unfortunately it seems that I have not found any solutions yet.

There are actually no problems with the SMTP settings and the firewall. Working from another browser does not change anything...

I will contact support if they find anything.
