Dear Personio Community,

I would like to ask if there is a possibility to set up an approval process for holiday requests that allows HR to have visibility over all requests, even if we are not directly part of the approval chain. The goal is to ensure that all requests are processed and accepted on time without necessarily adding an extra approval step for HR.

Is there a way to configure this within Personio, such as through notifications, reports, or a dashboard view? Any insights or best practices would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Anna

Hi @AnnaCzarnik

I’m not sure if you still need an answer to this!

You can use the ‘automations’ part of the system and set up a workflow to send an email/ notification when an absence is created, this will keep you aware of any absences that are created.

If you just want to keep an eye to ensure absences are being approved, also in the 'automations’ section is this:

If you click on ‘time off’ you can then filter by ‘overdue’ which will show requests that have been open for more than 7 days.

I hope this helps!
