We allow employees to upload doctors certificates (sick notes). How can this event trigger an alert to the HR Manager?
Else we would need to ask the employees to upload the sick note and in parallel send an email to the HR Manager which complicate4s matters of course.

Other users solve this topic by adding the HR manager to the approval process for sick leave. This way, HR Managers see if the certification was uploaded, and receive also an approval request when an absence period is deleted. You can check a similar set-up of a two-step approval in our help center:

Indeed notifications from users any other than the administrator would be very helpful
same with the deletion of annual leaves - currently HR is not notified about deletion, in fact, HR is only notified about upcoming absences but there is no notification about approval
