In ireland - when employee has been out sick and on their first day back to work - a return to work is carried out and this essentially a :

The main purpose of a RTW form is to essentially capture the following:

  • reason for absence,
  • period of absence,
  • nature of illness (if provided by employee) – depending on what details employees divulge, it may necessitate a referral to occupational health,
  • are they fit to RTW,
  • do they need any supports/reasonable accommodations to be put in place to support their RTW.
  • sharing information/reminding employees of policy and procedure/social welfare/provision of sick notes/updates in work etc.

Is there away to automate this on Personio or can this be done through survey?

Hi @Ganaa

thank you for reaching out concerning the back to work workflow.

I would actually recommend using Custom Workflows in order to set this up instead of Surveys (e.g. you cannot upload documents/attachments in a survey)

I would recommend setting this workflow up from scratch:

  1. Automations > Create workflow > Start from scratch

  2. Time based > relative to a date

  3. Select date attribute > employee time off end date

  4. Workflow starts > Before/after event date > X amount of days before

  5. Conditions > Select all the absence types where this workflow should trigger

  6. Set optional rules > Add

  7. You can then decide if you want to use tasks or mails or adding the person to a specific survey (I would not recommend the latter)

Feel free to give it a try. It can solve your issue eventually :)
