Good morning, folks! ☀️

After a wonderful and energising first edition, our London Lunch &Connect is back on June 26th.

@andra.enache will be hosting this discussion as we take on a topic that’s top-of-mind for a lot of HR pros: supporting teams through anxious and volatile times.

Andra is one of the most thoughtful and articulate people I’ve ever met. She combines empathy and pragmatism to make every chat I’ve had with her both invigorating and inspiring. Also, like the rest of our community members, Andra is a great listener, exemplified by how much of my rambling she’s willing to endure! 😂

Our first London Lunch &Connect featured some insightful points made by Andra, @Kim Stringer, @kraichura, @xtine08, @SophieA, @Ines , @avmar99 , and @MaddyBarclay.

So, whether you’re looking to brainstorm some actionable strategies or just get some frustrations off your chest in a peer-led environment, you’ll get a lot out of this discussion.

Very much looking forward to this!

@Moe @andra.enache - I’m disappointed to be missing this event, but excited to be having some early Summer holidays!  I hope event goes well and I hope you meet you all in person soon.

Thanks, @SalC

@SalC we will make this happen - I will put as many events in the calendar as possible so that you get a chance to join us! 🙏

Here here to early summer holidays. Jetting off anywhere?

The first Lunch & Learn couldn’t have come at a better time, especially as many of us are wrapping up annual review season. I’m really looking forward to hearing from @andra.enache  – you shared such thoughtful insights the last time we spoke!

(One quick note: the confirmation mentioned Cambridge - just wanted to flag that in case it’s an error)

Also, a suggestion for future events - since we’re all Personio customers and these sessions are hosted by Personio, it would be incredibly valuable to carve out space to hear how others are integrating the platform into their current workflows. Peer-led tips, process ideas, or even quick demos could really enhance the learning.

To share an example, I was recently invited a similar event hosted by another HR platform (I’ll spare names!), where the CTO and Head of Product curated a small, focused roundtable with customers. It was all about surfacing real pain points and co-creating solutions - it created an environment where feedback was not just heard but actively taken on board and fed back into the product roadmap. That kind of partnership would be brilliant to see here too.

Thanks again for hosting these - excited to see how the series evolves!

Apologies for that technical issue with the confirmation page, promise we won’t send you to Cambridge!

I think this is really helpful feedback on events. What I can do is workshop some ways to bring demos and product best-practice elements into community events. Maybe we could do a combined initiative where we discuss something more general and related to HR and then carve out some time to transition to a product-related demo or discussion.

Thanks, Christine!

Thank you and excited to have this conversation and hear others’ experiences.

I agree with you - I’d also love to have some sessions around Personio capabilities - I feel there’s more than I realise that I could use. Even sharing how each of us uses Personio for different stages of the employee experience (e.g. onboarding, performance mngt etc).
