Hi,

I need to retrieve changes made for employees with an effective date in the future via API.

I can’t find any information on this on the API documentation?

Can someone assist me on this please?

Hi @nopersonalinformation !

@Nathan Jolly is our resident API wizard so tagging him in case he might be able to help here. 🤩

Hello @nopersonalinformation

Great use case but never tried it !
I don’t have time to try it today, but you might look around this : https://developer.personio.de/reference/get_v2-persons

Use the updated_at.gt query parameters with a date in the future and see ?

I’ll try when I come back after my holidays.
Have a great day,

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

Unfortunately not. It’s just an easier filter so that you can only see records updated after a date that has already happened.

So I guess it’s not possible? But that seems kinda weird because surely those “ future changes”  should be stored somewhere right? And if it’s stored somewhere it should be accessible by us…

Hey you all, esp. @nopersonalinformation,

our product has different kinds of internal database setups where not everything is the same. E.g. scheduled attribute changes are stored and processed in a different manner than actual data changes or past historical entries. We currently cannot offer scheduled attribute changes, but we are working on sth.

With the new report builder, we aim at including more scheduled attribute changes for e.g. future status changes for historical data change report types. We want to make some big process within Q3 for that. This shall open up new API possibilities as well when you pull report data via API.

I ask you to leave all your specific wishes (especially what attributes or kind of attributes you want to have ready via API incl. their scheduled changes) in the internal feedback-area within the product. This is the best spot to leave product feedback, as it is constantly monitored by our product teams. They can process feedback best coming via this channel. :)

Hope that can help a bit!

Best

Michael
