CostCenter without Unique Reference Number/ Number and only with name

Hi @TorstenS,

When creating a new Cost Center (to do so, you can go to Settings > Organization > Cost Center), you can name it as you prefer.

If your company has already specific numbers for each cost center, you can add them to the name. For example, you can name the new cost center as follows: New Cost Center / 12345, or you can just use numbers, if you prefer.

You can check this with the Administrators of your Personio account.

thanks for ur reply. Maybe my first description was too short to understand it right.

For sure u can enter a number of the CostCenter… But if u are not knowing which cost center is what than u miss a description of the number. Espially in a big concern u have many of costcenter numbers. So it would be helpful if the costCenter has also a Name and not only the number or the unique Code.

For me its alsways a standard in a database that u gave minimum a value for a value. or how do you know for what the value is standing for when a value has no value? *LOL*
