Hello,

I noticed that the Personio system currently supports only a single date format on the dashboard (DD/MM/YYYY), while the API returns dates in the YYYY-MM-DD format. Does Personio only allow a single date format for date-type attributes, or is there a way to assign multiple formats?
Could someone from the Personio team confirm if there are any plans to support multiple date formats in both the API and dashboard, or if there might be a workaround available?"

Currently, when you set up any new ‘Date’ attribute it it is always DD/MM/YYYY format, and API/ Uploads are in the YYYY-MM-DD format. 

The only possible loophole I could imagine would work is instead of setting up the attribute as a date attribute, set it up as a free text attribute and ensure that it is always populated in the desired format.

Unfortunately, Personio currently doesn’t support multiple date formats for date-type attributes in either the dashboard or API responses. There are no indications in their publicly available resources of plans to add support for multiple formats in the near future, but it’s always possible that feature requests or user feedback could influence future updates.

@People Person and @Vilandre Ick are right! It is not currently possible to change the format for the Attributes type Date. I do really think that having this functionality added to Personio would greatly improve our software usability! Therefore, I would encourage you to send this feedback through the new Give feedback feature directly in your Personio account. Submissions will be forwarded directly to the relevant product teams.
