Hi community and Personio,

Would it be possible to select multiple onboarding templates at once? For example:

  • A general one for every new employee
  • Additional onboarding templates per department or if team lead

Hi @Marloesvanoverhagen,

thanks for sharing your question in the Community!

It is not possible to assign several onboarding templates to one employee.

What you can do is to create an onboarding template that combines the onboarding steps of both templates in one. You can use this extended template to assign it to e.g. team leads.

You can find more details on the creation of onboarding templates in the Helcenter articles Creating On- and Offboarding Workflows and Best Practice: Onboarding Templates and Steps.

If there are open questions, feel free to ask!

Best wishes
Marc

Hi @Marc , Is it possible to add a new step to an already assigned onboarding template  ?  Will the new step be then reflected to the existing employees?

Hi @Lakshmi,

editing an existing onboarding template will have no effect to already assigned once. In this case, you would have to unassign the onboarding template and reassign it to the employee.
Please note that in this case, the progress of the onboarding will get lost.

Best wishes
