I’m building an annual development planning cycle in Personio and have already created a Development Plan form. The goal here is focused on employee growth, skills development, and learning priorities — not performance evaluation.
From what I can see, the only way to roll this out in Personio is through the Performance module as part of a Performance Review Cycle. Is that actually the intended approach, or is there a cleaner / more suitable way to run annual development plans separately from performance reviews?
We recently ran a pilot, and participants found it confusing because they were effectively being asked to complete what looked like a performance review cycle, even though the focus was development planning rather than performance evaluation.
