New contract details for same employee (currency changes)
Hi,We have a situation that we transferred one employee from one office to another. Our offices are in different countries and each of them have different currency settings in Personio.We didn’t changed the hire date since there is no employment break and we want to have the correct work tenure for each employee. This made some problem in the salary tab, i.e. previous currency was MKD and now is EUR, so the system changed the salary to be in EUR since the beginning of employment. This is causing report issues.How can we handle this kind of changes properly. To make transfers of employees between offices and to have clear history and reports?Thank you.Bojana

Stopping emails to non assigned members of the company
Hi to all and I hope everything is well. I am messaging because I was unable to find in the Find Answer, Help Center, or Community, How to stop emails going to those NOT part of recruiting. My CEO receives emails about candidates, but he is not in any of the recruiting groups. I even tried to see if there was a way to set up the profile to not receive messages, but unable to find a feature to fit. May I get help with this matter? Is there a way to make specific options of who receives emails or not through Personio? Best,Raphael

Vacation entitlement - Employees with different number of weekly working hours
Hello all,We would like to revise the way employees paid by the hour, such as student workers, build up vacation entitlement and make it as fair as possible. I read this article about it: https://support.personio.de/hc/de/articles/360000416285-Best-Practice-Teilzeitmitarbeiter-und-WerkstudentenCurrently, we have the maximum possible 20 hours per week for working students divided into 5 days per week (4 hours each), even if some only work 2-4 days. The total number of vacation days per year is the same as for regular full-time employees.One difficulty is that employees often only request vacation for these 2-4 days instead of for the whole week, so they do not get paid more over the year, but they can take more weeks of vacation. The regulation is also not very intuitive and difficult to explain.On the other hand, this regulation is not entirely fair, since employees who do not normally get close to 20 hours, e.g. only work 10 hours a week, can still apply for 5*4 = 20 hours of vacation
Notification when Document is uploaded
We allow employees to upload doctors certificates (sick notes). How can this event trigger an alert to the HR Manager?Else we would need to ask the employees to upload the sick note and in parallel send an email to the HR Manager which complicate4s matters of course. ThanksMarc
New Performance & Development Area - Feedback from inactive users and performance documents

We now have two questions as we can't find the information anymore:Feedback from inactive usersWe cannot see the feedback for inactive users. Is this intentional? This would be necessary for us as we would like to have a look at their feedback from time to time, especially when it comes to rehiring people.Performance DocumentsIn the past, we always attached pdf documents to each feedback. This is no longer possible. If you look at the old feedbacks, these documents are no longer attached. Luckily they are still in the documents folder, but this is not ideal for us. Change Onboarding step status
Dear community, I’m struggling with the status of our onboarding steps. I changed one step into “done” , which was wrong, and would like to discard this change since I sill need to upload a document for it. I’m working as HR Manager and should have all admin rights within Personio. Unfortunaltey I noticed, that I’m not able to change the status of any step when the employee is in responsible for doing the task. Even if it’s my own task.If “HR Team” or “IT Team” is set as the responsible person, I can change the status to “Undone”. I tried to click on the green button on the right side, but I only can choose between “Done” and “Skip” (our system works in german, that’s why it looks different). Do you know how to set the status of the onboarding tasks to “Undone”?Pop Up after klicking on the lowest green button. Thanks guys! :)
Department specific attributes for career page
Can I create department specific attributes for the career page? For example if one department has certain requirements that another department does not have, is it possible to set it so that applications for one department would show different mandatory attributes to be filled out by applicants? Absences - Carry over for the hire date
(This question is related to this thread)I understand that is the current restriction.I can’t remember if there is a suggestion to enable the carryover to be from the Leave start date.i.e. it is selectable to enable a leave policy to start from year or hire date. There was an assumption that if the policy is selected to ‘renew’ on Hire Date then the ‘carryover’ is also based on Hire Date but I’ve understood that the ‘carryover’ is restricted to only taking place on Calendar… Is that right?
onboarding and off boarding notifications to IT
Hi,We have been asked by our IT department on so many occasions now to look into our onboarding and offboarding steps as they don't receive the notifications or it has been very hit and miss.am i right thinking managers must tick their system task before IT receives the next notification. Has anyone had any similar issues and what is that we are missing- it has been very challenging for the past 9 months as they keep saying they don't receive it.ThanksFatemeh
Onboarding workflow does not work once email gets changed from private to work
Hi, I wonder if anyone has come across this issue: when we have a newhire, for the pre-onboarding purposes we create an account in Personio with their private email address and assign onboarding flow. Once the employment date comes, we change the email from private to work one and the onboarding flow stops working: we get error messages once trying to send emails and documents to newhire etc. Has anyone come across such situation and what could be the issue/solution to this?

Currently, templates used for document creation in Documents tab are not editable. Once created document and then in case of any need to update the document, it must be deleted and re-done once again and saved. In the Recruitment field we can always modify the offer and re-send it to the candidate, is it possible to transfer this feature also to Documents?
Personal account for an onboarding employee
Hello!Do I have any possibilities to create a personal account for a new onboarding employee, which doesn’t have a work email address yet (from moment of signing contract to the first work day), so that a new employee could log into his own Personio account with his private email address?Example: a new employee was interviewed and received a work contract. Until the first working day this person doesn’t have a personal work email address. I would like to give a possibility to a new employee to have its own profile with his own private email to log into. This person should be able to see all work-relating documents into his own account.Thanks!
